1. New York - Boston
Depart New York for historic New England. Travel along the north shore of the Long Island Sound. Upon arrival in Boston we'll begin with an historic walking tour including Freedom Trail sites, the Old State House where the Declaration of Independence was first read in Boston, Faneuil Hall "The Cradle of Liberty" and Quincy Market.
2. Boston - Quebec City
Travel north through the White Mountain National Forest with spectacular scenery and natural geological formations formed by rivers and glacial erosive forces. We’ll drive through Vermont with its beautiful nature vistas to the French-Canadian province of Quebec. Arrive to “Ville de Québec “ the capital of the Canadian province of Quebec.
3. Quebec City - Montreal
Our tour today includes a guided tour of Canada’s only walled city. Begin the day with a visit of Old & New Quebec including Place Royale, Old Port, Le Chateau Frontenac, Notre Dame des Victories Church, the Diamond shaped Citadel and the Plains of Abraham. Travel southwest along the St. Lawrence River to the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada’s second-largest city.
Our half day sightseeing tour of cosmopolitan Montreal includes Mont Royal, Old Montreal ( Vieux-Montreal ) the famous Parisian-style historic District, and a stop at the Notre Dame Cathedral for picture taking. The balance of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a local Montreal restaurant or stroll through the underground shopping area of Place Ville-Marie.
5. Montreal - Ottawa - Toronto
Depart Montreal for Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Nestled on the banks of the majestic Ottawa, Rideau and Gatineau Rivers, Ottawa is one of the most beautiful G8 capitals in the world. We’ll view the grandeur of Parliament Hill's stately neo-Gothic architecture, the Canadian Mint , the hexagonal National Arts Centre and national institutions, parklands and waterways. After lunch, we’ll continue to Toronto, Canada's largest city on the shores of Lake Ontario.
6. Toronto - Niagara Falls
Begin the day with a short sightseeing tour including the historic and modern municipal buildings, the Parliament and colorful Chinatown. Stop at the world-renown Eaton Center, home shops and services all under one roof. Travel south through the charming village of Niagara-On-The- Lake, in the heart of Niagara’s glorious wine region. Then continue to Niagara Falls. This afternoon, we will take a cruise on Niagara River, for amazing close ups at the base of the thundering waterfalls (seasonally). In the evening you’ll have free time to visit the illuminated water falls.
7. Niagara Falls –Finger Lakes - Woodbury Commons - New Jersey
Back to USA, we will cross today New York state and continue through the picturesque countryside dotted with the finger lakes and vineyards. Here we reach the “Borscht Belt” or the Catskill Mountains. This was the vacation and entertainment center for the Jewish community living in NYC until the seventies of last century. Actors, comedians, musicians like Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, Billy Crystal, Jerry Lewis, Barbara Streisand and many more, used to entertain the audiences .After a short break at Woodbury Commons outlet center containing famous brands including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland and more, we will conclude our tour before driving to New Jersey for overnight and say good bye to our friends that end the tour in New York City.
8. Washington D.C.
We'll travel south to Washington through New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Upon arrival we'll visit the Air & Space Museum where hundreds of artifacts of aviation and space exploration can be found. See the Mall and the US Capitol where elected Senators and representatives meet to shape US legislative policy. We'll continue passing the Washington and Jefferson's monuments and we'll stop to visit Lincoln, Vietnam and the Korean War memorials. We will end the day with a stop to view the White House, home to the American Presidents. Overnight Washington DC area
9. Washington DC - Philadelphia - New York
Begin the day by visiting the Arlington National Cemetery. Our walking tour will bring us to the burial sites of Robert and John F. Kennedy We'll continue walking to see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then travel north to Philadelphia, the "Birthplace of a New Nation". View the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the U.S. Constitution written. Return to New York City, where we will say good-bye to our traveling companions.
